Well, you asked, and I was only too happy to supply.. here's Jak in all his glory, getting some screen time of his own for once.
Currently on a mission somewhere in Northern Iraq, he's being tasked with eliminating a terrorist militia camp hidden high in the mountains. With all the paths in being closely watched and guarded by insurgents, there's only one way to sneak in undetected.. climbing the sheer rock face, with only the smallest of hand and footholds between (relative) safety and a several hundred foot drop downwards...
I was pretty unsure about parts of this, but I think it's all come together quite well. I didn't use any ref for Jak's "climbing" pose.. maybe I'll regret that, but I think it's come out okay. If you think otherwise, tell me (but not too harshly, okay? It's my birthday tomorrow...). Background took a while too, although sadly the sunset is not my own. Just a picture off Google images, with a rock texture painted over it. Of course, I did then re-shade and change quite a bit of it, but I just couldn't get that sunset looking right, so I had to cheat!
Well, I think you've heard enough from me. Please full view, and comments, opinions and of course, s are very welcome! (Am I the only one who thinks Jak has quite a fetching rear? I think I'm going mad..)
hey this looks pretty good. you didn't forget any details that's for sure! sweat and blood :3
I think the only thing I would do with this one is add a more distinctive shade of orange on the edges where the sun hits...then a little bit of yellow on top of that. and a bit of a bright yellow-orange shine of his earrings
but other than that it's well done and that's just optional.
I think the pose is excellent! He looks mad. He must've slipped a few times. The rocks are tugging and tearing at his stylish pants too, so he must be pissed. When he reaches the top he'll have holy pants! The terrorists won't like that.. or would they? Naw. Everything's so great! The lighting, the shadows, and the background is excellent. One song that comes to mind when looking at this is "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor. I'm silly..
Nothing's wrong, I really like it! Excellent job on making this!

We have tail placed way below buttcrack then. Tail needs to be above buttcrack... unless that's not crack and I'm on crack... O.o Some days I don't know. heh.

I can't help thinking his body may be a little wide towards the middle, kind of like it's not all shifting with the movement, but I could be wrong.
Anyway, other ramblings aside, I like it! And, yes, about time Jak got some solo spotlight. ^^
